"NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.
What started as a small group of families gathered around a kitchen table in 1979 has blossomed into the nation's leading voice on mental health. Today, we are an association of hundreds of local affiliates, state organizations and volunteers who work in your community to raise awareness and provide support and education that was not previously available to those in need. The Enselein Family joined forces with us in 2018 to partner efforts in raising awareness for mental illness, suicide prevention and education.
Steve, Andrew's father, is an integral piece of our fundraising efforts for the auctions we hold at our two annual events!
Ellie, one of Andrew's sisters, spearheads coordinating a team each year to participate in the NAMI Walk each fall in Minnesota. The money raised in 2018 exceeded expectations and 2019 yielded even more in money raised for NAMI, making the Soulshine Walkers the #5 top Walking Team each year!
